Not sure what changed (have unified installer), but my runways disappeared. Any ideas? They seem to work as normal, but aren't there visually. I assume its some mod I added, but having trouble figuring it out.

Probably a static.ini issue. I had this when I installed th LAL Hangar mod. There was a text file that the instructions said to add to the end of the static.ini file. I didn't have a static.ini file anywhere, so I just renamed the text file as static.ini and put it in MODS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects. That didn't work. I had the new objects, but all the old ones (like runways) were gone.

So if you don't already have a stock static.ini file to add stuff to the end of, you can get one here:

and put it in MODS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects, then add the new stuff to the end of it.

That solved my problem anyway.

Lol, you hit it exactly! I didn't have a stock static.ini, and was trying to install the LAL hanger mod, and tried just what you did.. I guess I just didn't notice the other stuff disappearing until later!
