Can someone PLEEESE, PLEEESE, make a sand filter for the Hurricane IIc!!! I have tried with the tools here and have crashed and burned toooo many times. Ranwers you got a little time mate?

It would be great to have a proper tropicalized version with the filter, either as a new slot plane or as an option that goes with desert skin. Ditto for German planes.

I think that a while back , kristof was doing something in the way of a converter mod, for all the Hurri marks ....

Though nothing came of it (as far as I know)..... :?

I *think*, without being involved in this project, that it was intended to have a FM edit to represent the differences... that, and the problem of the author of that particular mesh (if I'm remembering correctly, this may or may not be correct), not wanting this done by someone else... Not entirely sure, but I seem to remember that was the cause of the situation...

IMO Trop Hurries could have been added as new slot planes even without new FM, just to give the feel on MTO maps. New FM could come on a second moment...

Indeed, after all the work you did mate they should be in there, would add huge immersion to the maps

That would be great, version 1 with just the cosmetic mod. Make a Hurri I, IIB, IIC, as trop version (new slot). And then later when time permits, version 2 with a new FM and maybe weapon loadouts.

OH PLEESE, PLEESE GREAT AAA MOD TEAM, PIMP OUR HURRICANES!!!!!

Uber-Bump! The Hurricane IID is one of the nicest mods AAA has created to date, all hail to those righteous modders who worked on it! Using that chin filter for additional trop Hurricane versions would be a huge payoff. And I agree with Phillip, a 'cosmetic' mod now would be great, FM and weapons changes can always come later...

In any event; those of us with an insatiable appetite for more are deeply indebted to those of you with the ability to satisfy...!

I'm new of the site but if I can say my opinion the sand filter of the Hurri is an eye need!
It give full visual immersion in Desert and Burma mission and for FM I think it effectively not so needed because.....everyone fly with regular Hurri in that maps..... or not?
None have request a FM mod but a lot of pilots look well the filter only.

Two is better than one but.....one is better that nothing!

...if only cosmetic change is sufficient , anybody can make that locally .... all tools are available for download here ( AAA )

took me about 10 minutes to identify files ... place them to Hurry IIc folder and edit hier.him

but for publishing such mod please ask for permission from author of the mesh ...
