Nice sounds, but if taken from Band of brothers, it might be 0.3.3CAL's u've recorded. Only time hearing the 0.50CAL is when the sherman tanks break through near carentan (last 10 minutes of episode 3) - and those sounds are sporadic.
By listening to the sound of Yours, I have to conclude, that it really must be the sound of the 0.303CAL's.
But then again, it is a nice and clean recording - nice work, perhaps it can be used on the 0.303CAL armed planes (like the Dauntless among others)...

yep those are .030 cal

I fired .50 cal (for real) and that is quite a bang. you need to capture all the frequencies or just go with the game sound. The best way is to go to a range where some lucky person is firing one and ask to record it. (yea right)
