Directory of MODs
#1

I realize that this would be a daunting task for any one or two or five people but has anyone considered making a directory of MODs. I still get lost here and I know it's no ones fault but mine but there are MODs that were made months ago and because of that they are not in the forefront of the forum. I'm not requesting that this be done by no means but the bigger this game gets the harder it's going to be to keep track of all of them. For the time being we all use the searce engine but unless you're spot on with your query that in and of it's self is a huge task and without a directory you don't really know what you don't have, if that makes any sense. Please before you set out to burn my house down Wink this is not a request and if I knew how to go about something like this and I thought it wouldn't take 3 lifetimes I would do it, just asking... I agree whit u, and also lock the section where u can download the mod, so just the mod maker can update and writhe info, so no people post tons of post there, its hard to know if it has ben updated or just someone else have put a post, better to have a section/tree where people can post there trouble/thanks/request in for that mod.

Hi

I mainly centred on new object mods by all the modders like Fisneaky, Cannon UK. Fabian Fred and
Lalrone's work.

You'll find it in the MAP TOOLS Forum heading Object Mods Photo Directory.

Yes it took me a month to put it all together.

Fly Zo changed it to PDF (Thank you Fly Zo)

I may ad more to it in another month or so.

In between houses right now re settled in Feb.

Cheers

I did take a look Kirby and what you're doing is more of the "object list" that shipped with the game. I'm actually talking about a directory for here at AAA so that you could just go to an index, look up a MOD by category and go into a subfolder and in there would be all the MODs that did what you're looking for.

Don't get me wrong, I like what you're doing and the object list for mission building is essential so what you are doing will be well used when it's done.

I know that what I'm saying is a monumental task but if it were to start soon with all the moders placing their stuff kind of like what is done now and a directory page that links to that subfolder vaaavoom it's done. Then over time the files that are out now could be placed in those by subject categories with installation instructions I think it would make it easier on the modders to get back to what they do best, fill our stockings Wink

I don't know, maybe I'm on a sugar high or something and getting rushes from that and this is not really a feasible plan. But one can hope right, hope, hope, hope...
