As some of you know, I'm working with Scharnhorst in populating the new maps for the Dynamic Campaign Generator. While he is busy concentrating on the PTO maps, I’m working on the Italy/Greece/North Africa map for DCG.
I do have a bit of spare time on me, so I decided to start populating the Channel Map. I just want to find out if somebody else where working on it?
Basically we'll have time period from '39-'41 and then '42 - '45
I'll keep you updated on progress....

Cool! Can't wait for these. Thanks!!
I started working on adding Canons BoB map to DCG last year but stopped when I realised that I'd Have to start again when the final release came out.
I have a basic .rds file if your interested, its very basic though. It contains no factory districts or supply depots. just roads linking the major towns.
Ill send you the .rds file if you like. PM me with your email address and ill send it on.
Please note though that its not tested.
Yes, I strongly recommend making nothing for the beta because a) it will be totally incompatible with the final release and b) the final release is a million times better.

Okay, I, like all the rest of you, Love this map so Canon could we get a wee hint as to how much time till we get to droool all over it again?
Ive had DCG campaigns for Canon's map since it came out...
not sure what the fuss is with RDS files...
better not to make some giant RDS file for huge area... just make a required route for each campaign you do.
A lot faster and the campaigns run smoother.
If you have a billion routes, and a bunch of ground units... well... lets just say it gets a little funky.
Much easier to Pick your allied/axis supply/start points.. where you want the action to be for that campaign.. llocalize your routes to a that area ... and just not 'draw' routes outside of that.
What's the word on this - maybe we can pool resources???
