FMB+ and waypoints (grouping possble?)
#1

Hi all,

one quick question: is it possible to select a group of objects in FMB+ and create waypoints for all of them at once instead of creating one by one for each non-static object.

For instance: i placed 8 bombers on a map and now i would like to draw a path that they follow. Take off, climb, cruise, bomb the shit of something, descend, land. Right now i was doing it plane by plane and it got annoying quite fast. If is possible to do this quicker? I was unable to select multiple objects in FMB+, like i was doing it in Unlocked FMB.

Thanks.

What you can do is use the mission tuner to copy aircraft waypoints. So you could place one bomber with all its waypoints in the FMB, then use the tuner to copy that bomber 8 times. This only works on aircraft, not ground or staic objects.

For static objects and ground targets you can use the monkey wrench programme

One can create big flights of bombers using the same method as getting gliders to lock to transports. Create all waypoints for lead bomber flight, then only two waypoints for each other bomber flight, and set the target of the 2nd waypoint to the lead flight.

Fighters can't be set in the same way as you need to set all waypoints.

This mission is an example of what I mean:

Does anyone know why this "hooking" of bombers isn't working for QMB+ missions? Pain in the ass this is :S
