I've made two separate installs (without desert pack) and it seems to work all right. I haven't checked the winter camo but the summer camo works perfectly well..
Yeah...neither the winter nor desert textures work. The summer jobs look good though.
summer and winter work in maps summer and winter. automatically, the menu of FMB dont change, no show winter txt.
how work desert texture? I try with desert on line, but i cannot see desert texture. how use technic.ini file? where put it?
"If all of you have correctly written in a file chief.ini, and have correctly arranged all folders new tank-skins should work."
Where is file chief.ini? how write correctly in it and what? how agganged all folder, what "all" folder?
I have not seen in this topic support about this.
someone can help me? thanks.

Hi!
I have a common problem and a doubt:
Problem- I haven't the chief file in my folder: what install it , how work , is it in relaction with wrapper?
Doubt- The mod correct folder name is tank or tanktexture?

Summer and Winter skins are working but like several other users Desert skins don't work whatever I try.
Till so far I haven't read a solution in this thread which means nobody has a solution or nobody wants to share it.

Hi!
I have solved all problem with it!
Who have trouble have to check no double chief or other .ini files (usually someone can find double file in Static _ac) , so if you have double .ini files merge it in one , delete the double files and put the merged in STD/.../OBJECTS , now textures shell work!
NB: Backup .ini before do it for insurance!!!!!!

Thanx W_S for your solution...but I don't understand a single word of it. :?: Sounds too complicated this double chief, static_ac and merging into STD...
I've downloaded many great mods here and usually it is easy and once in a while you have to mess around a bit and adding/deleting lines in your all.ini or load.ini. and it works.
A modmaker is not obliged to reply on comments I know, but it would be nice if he delivered a proper modfile as I am not the only one having this problem.
Well, I'm not gonna spend my time anymore on a few reskinned desert tanks. Green tanks won't be that much of a problem to me. After some strafing they are completely ruined anyway.
still no definitive answer after all this time...?
