P-47C, P-38G and F: Gaping hole in 1943 Allied plane set
#1

Anyone planning on working on these? There is an extreme void in the 1943 Allied planeset that still remains in the sim with the exclusion of these aircraft.

Would be minimum 3d work on P-47C, and P-38G,F would require a little more mainly to the engine nacelles. And of course the FM work...

But these aircraft would appear to require less effort to add than many of the fine projects that have been released here...and yet they are extremely important marks.

I have been begging for this too, but I fear most of the "new slot" developers are just to busy with other projects...would love to hear from the AAA staff on development plans for these birds.

+1.

The USAAF Early PTO arsenal is pretty bare without the above. These are planes we really NEED!

I was working with 3rd Eye on a P-47C, but haven't heard from him in a while. I think he needs some 3d help and is having a hard time finding it.

I have the 3D edits for the P-47C sitting here on my hard drive, I had uploaded them to mediafire and sent them to him but haven't heard back..

I think he had some computer problems...hopefully it will all get sorted.

As for the P-38F and G, it looks like there is more work with the canopy and cockpit as well - so it could end up being pretty time consuming...and then there is the FM work for both...

I've put in my request for the P38F, linking to sites with good data about that model. We who can't do modding just have to wait until someone who can gets the whim to do our favorite plane. Beggars can't be choosers.

Badly needed USAAF aircraft: B-24D, B-26, P-38F/G, P-47C.

Can I add even those?

TBD Devastator
SB2C Helldiver
A26 Intruder (also good for the wip of Korea map)

cheers
