MUAS MARKING MODS V1.00





This mod enables 4 full functional new countries, including own army insignias and some squadrons too.

New countries/armies are:

• Spanish Republican Army
  Spanish Nationalist Army
  Brazil
  Portugal

It also includes some extra features like:

• Dedicated default brazilian P-47D-27 and P-47D squadron outfit (skin & markings)
  Dedicated default portuguese P-400 squadron outfit (skin & markings)
  ETO british style fuselage markings for all P-47D models
  Complete campaign folders for new countries pilot career (stock awards, though)

Code was added to comply with multiplayer new countries however, online compatibility is yet to be tested.
Online ingame players list coding:

• Spanish Nationalist Army uses new code displaying an "x" after plane number
  Spanish Republican Army uses same code as Russian country displaying a "*" before section color
  Brazil uses same code as USA displaying a "*" after plane number
  Portugual uses British style "plane in squadron" lettering

To do list:

• Dedicated default Spanish Republican I-16 squadron outfit (skin & markings)
  Dedicated default Spanish Nationalist Bf-109E-1 squadron outfit (skin & markings)
  ETO british style fuselage markings for all P-51 and P-38 models - I'm just a little step away from this but I aint got too much spare time for 3D editing...

McWolf_DecalsShine_v1 is highly recommended for natural shine markings effect.

No. After install this mod, you'll loose any other custom countries/squadrons you had before.
Refer to the readme before install. You'll have to manually add the other countries/squadrons.
It's simple text edit - not very difficult.

We've yet to test that, but I believe that at least if all players have this mod installed, no one will be invisible anymore.

Great mod! I hope you'll continue this great work and create even more nations with appropriate markings.

Here everything works fine, for speech pack I made a new folder in /samples/speech/ES and copied the actors (1-9) in that folder and sppech pack works with new Spanish nation (both sides).

Really great work so far, I'm hoping on a new nations someday.

I sure can add some more countries, but now I'm mostly concerned on getting this mod to work online.

I just tested it and, as I expected, the player flying for any of this custom countries won't be seen by anyone else.

If two pilots have installed the mod, they might see each other, but everyone else won't.

Logically, if everyone has the mod installed, they will see each other but still, that won't be enough on a dedicated server, because the server don't recognize the new countries. As a result, stats wont display properly, and flak and other AI controlled gunners will not fire...

The solution is to install the mod on servers and clients. That means one has to install the mod on the dedicated server to.

If the game is hosted by a player, then it will work ok as long as everyone have the mod.

Feel free to test it with some fellow pilot and post here the result. An online co-op mission will be an interesting test too.
