Firstly I'd like to say how exciting the ongoing developments are at AAA ; if only more of us plebs who just use the mods were able to continue directly - I wish I could.
I was just reading through a lot of threads last night, trying to catch up, and it crossed my mind that in all the flurry of night oriented engagements, including British bombers (Wellington, Halifax, Lancaster and Pathfinder Mosquito), as well as exciting night fighters ( from the lowly Blenheim IF to the He 219 Uhu and the P61, not to mention the venerable Bf 110G4 and the Ju88 Nfighters), as well as the twinklings of development of models for airborne radar, has anyone considered the deleterious effect of darkness on both the accuracy of visual target identification and inherent inaccuracy of visually aimed defensive guns?
Just a preliminary inquiry for consideration.
