@Thor

I have spent all day trying to raise the volume of the ground explosions and unfortunately, I was unsuccessful. I was able to locate the actual explosion sounds but raising the volume in the .prs file had no effect. I also tried raising the volume of the actual explosion sample, but the volume was still not loud enough. Here are the files used for the ground impact explosion.

expl_cb_1_79_1.wav, expl_cb_1_79_2.wav and expl_cb_1_79_3.wav.

Maybe someone else might have better luck with this than I did.

Lets hope so.

Thanks for the attempt mate. Much apreciated. Can't tell you how much I like your mod. As a bomber pilot I think this was needed a long time ago.

Few screenies:

for those having problems (ATI) - if you read Buffy's flak thread, there is a texture that is too big for ATI. He posted a slightly smaller one and it works fine... that smaller file needs to get worked into this mod too to fix it I would presume.... I originally had the same problem with buffys flak (which is awesome), and that replacement tex. did the trick.

Try this. It might fix your problem. Download this file...

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ednkmj0zxv4

then go to...

MODS\Buffy_Flaks\effects\Explodes\Air\Zenitka\USSR_85mm

and replace (flame.tga). with your new downloaded file.

Slikk -

Very nice. Flew online with the Mod last night and the Flak sight/sounds were tremendous. Job well done. I have not noticed much difference when I get shot (Bullet sounds hitting plane) or from ground AAA firing when I'm on the ground at base. But the Flak is worth the whole ball of wax.

Installation went just fine, no hangups with the system. Running nvidia 8800GTX and Q6600 processor (3.2ghz)

The link seems to be broken but I noticed that the file was very small.
Can someone else just upload it so I can try it.

But Im suspicious about that the replacement file. Its named USSR and I experience the problems with flak from british ships in e.g BOB server by LW1. Or is these flakeffects used on all kinds of ships and AAA batteries?

Regards
Simon

EDIT: Eventually the link worked and I got rid of all the glitches!
Thank you very much for the fix.
Now the flak looks like they should have done from the beginning Wink

@simli835

I'm glad you got it working for you.

On another note, I just hooked up my Buttkicker and ran a flack intensive mission and all I can say is WOW! it blew me away. If anyone out there has a Buttkicker you really need to try this mod with your Buttkicker turned on. It looked, felt, and sounded like the flack was right outside my plane.

For those of you that don
