As the title says, my il2fb.exe has stopped launching the game.

Ive no idea what has caused it to stop working.

Before it stoppped working I was adding mods to the MODS folder and adding entries to the planes.ru, weapons.ru and air.ini files. Everytime I added a mod and made the relevent entires to the files I was going into the game to see the result, then all of a sudden the il2fb.exe stopped launching the game. Ive tried restarting my computer but that didn't work.

Can anyone help with this? Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

First and foremost, check your config.ini file to make sure that it is complete.
9 out of 10 times this is the reason the game fails to launch at all. If it's complete, make sure that the resolution in the conf.ini is one that your video card/monitor support.

If you suspect that the conf.ini is corrupt, just erase it's contents and run the il2setup.exe and it will re-compile the file.

Edit: Never mind, ive sorted it

Had a back-up of my conf.ini and just used that

Sometimes you may need to create a new shortcut of the .exe on your desktop. I've had to do that some five times.
