(mod request) new flashes for guns
#1

i find that although the flashes are not the worst i've seen yet, they are a bit unrealistic as well as very hard to see through, bde nice is the night flashes were more smaller for mk108s so ya can see something, i like the big flash for 75 and 50mm but not 30mm. be real nice if someone could change that or if not at least tell me how to make day flashes at night and overall switch what flash correspond to what gun, like make 20mm flashes longer and less wide ect. and just modify what the flashes look like. i personally am not bad with modding small things if someone can teach me. be really appreciated.
also i'd like to know what others think of the flashes. if realistic ect.

I would like a mod that would make the gun-flashes more intermittent. I've fired a Browning M2 .50 cal plenty of times when i was in the army (We use a special round developed in norway. It has an exploding tungsten core i think, so it'll explode on contact basically.. Im also from norway btw) and i rarely saw any muzzle flash when i fired the gun, same thing goes for ww2 footage of fighter aircraft and door gunners on bomber planes, you rarely see any muzzle flash at all, the most common occurence, and the most realistic occurence when firing a weapon is smoke.. I'd rather see more smoke coming out of the barrels instead of muzzle flashes, because displaying a muzzle flash for almost every shot that you fire is to "arcade'y" imo.

i already found a nice mod for day flashes and their textures (makes flashes more realistic in me opinion) that i forgot where it was now, but the problem i still have is that that mod never fixed night textures which i plain get annoyed wth, especially the mk108s which i do not think had that big flash at night. and even if they did, it is definetely not the shape of giant stretched sphere.
