Create object ship mod

Hi!

An useful idea:

In WWII a lot of ship was sunk in shallow water in harbour , near pier or near shore , so only their upper deck or superstructure are in surface.

I have try (without success) to create a ship (with live and damaged mesh) that can be placed in IL2 FMB like a common object (like an house or an hangar for example) so we can place it everywhere on the map (we can even set height for place the ship semi-submerged too).

I have made this kind of object directory:

[buildings.House$Russian_Destroyer_Type_7]
Title Russian_Destroyer_Type_7
MeshLive 3do/Ships/Destroyer Type 7/ (Hier.him or body.sim)
MeshDead
AlignToLand 1
AddHeightLive -6.0
Body FuelBig
Panzer 0.025

The ship in this form (3do/Ships/Destroyer Type 7/Hier.him) is visible in the object show prewiev but isn't placeable on the map.

The trouble I think is in the file where the program load the mesh (when I have made with success destroyed train the last directory have the name 'body.sim' but work only in non modded train) because in all the mod made about train and ship in the object folder I have see that is missing the body.sim file so (I think) is missing the file that allow the program to load the object mesh.

I think that if someone can find , extract or create that file (body.sim) we can have ship that we can see like object in the game and we can be place freely everywhere on the map!

Someone are interested in that?

actually I think shppack2 contains a wrecked destroyer.

Hi!

Yes , Ship Pack II have some wreck ships and I have it , but what I'm searching and asking for isn't few damaged ship , is to add all the ship of IL2 and Ship Pack in the static.ini directory to obtain all the ship in the FMB OBJECT section together at all the others object like house , hangar , fence , castle etc etc.....
