That really cut the mustard. Working fine now. It's a Top-5 Mod to me, allowing me to dump a zillion MatManager files. Aces sure did one hell of a job but it has slowed down so many defrags, virusScans and so on...

Do you recommend the update only for ATI cards? Will it do anything for NVidea users?

I think it's not necessary now, if you didn't have any problem on decal display.

I'm using IL-2 on my laptop with an intel card and I had to resize to 128x128 the british roundels and a few others. everything is Ok now and it is a nice mod thanks

I'd been using Mat Manager for at least four years, and didn't realize how many TENS OF THOUSANDS of MATs I had in my cache folder. Now that I've found this little gem, it's back to clearcache=1 for me. I can still use my own markings (or whichever ones I want), and the best part is, no more RAF codes not lining up on planes! Thank you for this diamond of a mod!

and i forgot to say i tried removing all mods from my mod folder exept this one and Avalas planeshine mod (v1.2), so no other mat mods.

also if i turn on my navigation lights the decals suddely appear as they should and the game starts to lag, and if i fire my guns the decals appear and disappear rapidly

for your information; i have a Nvidia Fx 5950 Ultra
When i use the 1.10 version, i have exactly the same prob as in the pics of ground lover, not on any plane but at least on several.
Whene i use the 1.11 version, it is solved !!

It's possible of make the all number of the RAF? please?
Because you have only make the 2, 5 and the 7, and that make not really beautifull with the other letter not improved. And like i am from the 438 squadron, our indicator, the F3, look strange because of the 3:
