Has anyone here played the helicopter sim "Gunship" by microprose.
It had a nice feature where the cockpit could be made translucent (grayed out), to a couple of different settings, 50% or 25% from memory. This allowed the pilot to see the terrain and surrounds whilst still having the benefit of the cockpit and gauges.
I'd like to see this for some of the older bi-planes in Sturmovick that suffer from poor visibility, rather than the gauges only view which I find a bit arcadish.
Is this type of mod possible? Would there be a demand for this type of view? I know there are some talented modders out there, its way beyond my computer skills!.
Just a thought
Thanks, steveb
