Proper Taxi
#1

Hello pilots,

I've noticed that planes controlled by AI they are taxing without increasing the throttle and without using their rudder.

Up to now I can only turn on the ground by fully turning my rudder and pop up the throttle a bit.

So question: Is there a way to turn the front wheel of the plane so it can turn easily like a car? ( I think that AI does)

Thanks for your attention and sorry if it sounds stupid Tongue

AI, when taxiing, are following taxi checkpoint, so it's why they are so "good" to turn at a 90

Differential brakes, press your brake key while applying rudder. You can turn on a dime.
Note this is less effective as speed increases, but you may need power to help get it turning when slow or stopped..

Ok guys I got the point. I was a bit confused because for example in Lock On the wheels are turning with the rudder as well.

Thanks for the answers. Brake and Rudder :o

Hi,

one other thing. When you are looking at other aircraft from an external view you will only ever see their flaps move, you will never see any other FCS move. Try it with a friend. It saves on data transmission just like many FPS games, only you see the animation.
