Yea, White Sun, Blue Sky is an excellent campaign and is centered on the AVG in Burma. I flew it last year, and had an excellent time. Its a large campaign, and be sure to print out the maps, as the author suggests.

The Thailand Map offers an awesome terrain to play the first missions of the AVG defending Rangoon. Hope someone would make some of those as a campaign. I have made some as single missions and not very detailed, but based on very historical reports.

I plan on doing Flying Tigers Over Burma some time in the future. I have details and notes for many missions (from book) and I just have to start building it. Right now I'm having the problem of getting the static.ini for Burma_Lower map to work. This map is not completed anyway so I will most likely use the Thailand map anyway. It's a good one for the subject--Thanks FabianFred! With these new mod maps comes more realism. Chris_Blair put a lot of effort into building White Sun Blue Sky trying to make those other maps look like asia. Thankfully we now do not have to do that. Please be patient. I'll start on it as soon as I can.
WSBS is the best AVG experience available in the Il-2/FB engine to date IMO.
