The biggest thing that annoys me in IL2 is that AI guns shoot at aircrew in chutes. Is it possible to mod this out?

~S~ g'dayn ex RAAF m8, man , I agree totally, there is nothing as disturbing as watching the AAA homing in on you as you bail out over enemy territory.
A mod like that to control AI AAA would be great.
Though that saying, in FMB you can set the AAA firing distance to hold off till something comes into range (in metres) BUT that would take out ability for them to hit higher flying aircraft etc.
hope someone has the brains to work something out as I am sure it would be a hit

there's a mod for stop AAA to shot at bailed pilots, is somewhere in forums but ' don't remember where now, use the search tool and maybe you can find it.

The link to the pack that contains the mod seems to be dead. Any chance somebody has this mod by itself that they could zip-up and post somewhere please. Hate seeing paras being shot at.

That link is by VP media who removed all of his stuff after AAA rules annoyed him...

A search for the mod NOAAPARACHUTE comes up with three hits, this thread being one of them. Unfortuantely a working link for NOAAPARACHUTE doesnt seem to be here. Does anyone have it that they could upload?

NP, guys...the big plus for this mod is that it's a major help with FPS - you don't get all the AAA shooting at every para in the sky..... :wink:
