I have the Uni.1.1 installed and also installed the ship pack 2. This is the first time I'm installing the ship pack. After installing, I noticed I have two list of ship pack and stationary ship pack. I tried using it and it works in FMB when I play it back in co-op missions. What I'm afraid of is it might not work if I host the game? I haven't tried it yet with my buddies yet, just wondering. If you feel I did something wrong, I am open to any suggestions. If you are the only one in the game that has ship pack 2 then you will also be the only one that will see the ships from the pack.
Therefor it is a shame that the ship pack wasnt redone and the bugs taken out of it so it could have been included in the UI v1.1...
Becouse the installation of the ship pack mod is hopless buildt up and put together with i think its 3 different inis for the same thing and this makes alot of confusion. it also had a conflict with the dogfight moving mod from Hellzone.
Why SP2 wasnt redone and fixed and put into the UI v1.1 with a - infront so people could choose to use it or not is a mistery.
In my opinion this would have given alot more to the game then chickenfarms and things alike. but thats my opinion..

Is there a chance that the ShipPack will come as an UI 1.1 update patch?
This would be a big favour for several people!

I would suggest a bundeled update, that includes all Object-Mods and dditions, as well as armour and shippack would be the most useful thing to the whole community!!

Ive also been trying to get some responce or see if there where any interest in new types of artillery that would have been great for the new maps, and for the smaller maps it shouldnt be any big problem if outfitting the artillery with attack range as the AAA and flak has.
I also wondered why anyone didnt make coastal forts with working guns. this shouldnt be hard to do fo rthe modders as the forts often used naval guns.
We have one here in norway that was supposed to be used on a new type german warship but they where never built so the guns went to norway,poland then also to france where they shelled dover for 4 years. range was 56000 meters.
But sadly not even a sub pen has been made. so why noone seems willing to do the shippack2 and the rest mentioned over is a mistery for me as alot of the ww2 was fought in and around the coast, islands and so on.
Instead alot of effort is been used to make civilian buildings and so on, well nice in a ntrk or a movie but not much for the game imoa.
In the end it is the modders that deside what to do and what to make. we can only hope we can insperate them to make some of the war stuff too..
As imoa if i wanted to se civilian buildings an mass i would fly mfs X..
The game as it is can be seen upon like how you build a house. you dont set up the diningtable ,stereo etc before the walls are in place.
Meaning make the basic war stuff first then make the small things that make it more alive in the end, not opposite.
