Nvidia Control Panel
#1

Hi guys, bit of a problem, i have created a profile for il21946 using 'manage 3D settings' in Nvidia control panel, the problem is that i set SLI mode to Force Split Frame Rendering but every time i restart my PC it defaults back to Nvidia Recommended (SLI). Which means i have to keep changing it back to SFR. Any idea why the control panel will not save the settings?

Many Thanks.

Nvidia's drivers and their control panel seem to have become really flaky. Try using nHancer to set up your profiles and run the card, it is far more stable and gives more options. The only things nHancer will not do is set your fan speed, check the GPU temperature and overclock the card. If you want to do those things you will have to install other programs or use RivaTuner instead of nHancer.

Thanks for the advice the only problem i have with nhancer and il2 is that i simply cannot get the antiailising to work, no matter what seetings i put in to nhancer i still have loads of jagged edges showing in game, i need something that overides any application setting but i cannot seem to find it in nhancer.

I have no problems with nHancer making AA work in Il2. What are your video settings in the Il2 setup program?

nhancer does the trick, if you call up the program in nhancer profiles it allows you to delete the executable the driver looks for to change the graphics settings of, if you don't want to use nhancer just change the name of the il2 executable to something else eg "il2fbxxx.exe"

nHancer will usually get AA to work when the nVidia panel won't! Make sure you dump the nVidia control panel from your startup after you install nHancer.
