Suggested EFFECTS Mods Advice please

Hi guys,

I hope this is the right place, as opposed to the MODS section itself - please move if not!

Can anyone suggest some additional effects MODS which are easy to add to go on top of UI 1.1 for my OFFLINE install where I play campaigns in 409 B1m? (I have a separate bog standard 1.1 install for online play)

I've got various minor MODS (mostly reskins - parachutes, trains, etc) & Tracer MOD, etc.

I'm really looking for advice on how to increase the 'eye candy' factor without making loads of changes & spanking my FPS.

(The link is inoperative) this mod pack looks quite good & simple to add, but will I lose other effects quality from UI 1.1 by changing from Effects=2 to Effects=1 as its readme instructs?

I appreciate this is probably a very subjective/personal choice for you all but I'm open to suggestions & appreciate any feedback anyone can give Smile

Hi Tigger88 ,
that mod is about done with the most excellent FPS thus far.
Effects=2 may bring from time to time your computer likely to it's knees
when looking in to a lot of sailing ships smokes and AAA fire all at
the same time .
Also since Effects=2 was never advised , I got some smokes texture
flickering with it no matter if I used Ati ot Nvidia card while looking from some angles.
Believe me , you will lose nothing very much by using Effects=1 ,
thats the biggest default setting that Oleg always praised to use.
Effects=2 is changing smokes color structure and it should not be used with our mod .

Ultimate Full 3D smokes Fire mod have all 3D smoke from stall , to ME 193 Komet rocket , to
contrails , to changed new fire for crashed planes or just damaged sitting planes
on fire , new fuel leak visual effect , smoke is picked up by wind and it
is fully interactive with wind , slower speed=shorter trail , higher speed=longer trail .
Just try it and if you don't like it there is more other mods to chose from Tongue

D/loaded, installed, adjusted conf.ini to Effects=1 & played last in various QMB's last nite & what can I say? . . . .Its amazing !! Big Grin

Excellent work, looks beautiful, no effect on framerate at all - I'd recommend this to anyone!
