An overview of my work. As you can see, now, even when the insignia appear large, it still remains beautiful unlike the older versions, because I've now set to 256x256. There is also a second update of the 438 badge (courtesy of 438_Skunk):

Development of the mod is reaching its final stage. I've added India and Pakistan to the list of nations.
I'm currently working on ranks and awards to enable campaigns for new countries. I already have ranks and medals for these: Spain (republican and nationalist), Switzerland, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, Philippines.
Any help on ranks and awards for new countries would be greatly appreciated Smile

and here for ranks: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Afri ... #Air_Force
The rank structure is basically the same as RAF...

Some of these markings are post-WW2.

Canada did not use the maple leaf roundel until 1946 - before then it was the regular RAF roundel.

Philippines markings were different - just a rhomboid shape without the wings, black inside with white border.

I did not check all the possible combinations, if i see something else that's wrong i'll let you know.

Otherwise, it's a great mod, keep up the good work!

Exactly, it's for that it have two version. The first are under the RAF section and have so the RAF Roundel.
The second are under Canada and have the Canadian roundel and some of the personnal crest.

Thanks Radoye for your feedback. As Martin pointed out, we're giving the liberty for users to either choose Canadian squadrons within the RAF, or post-war RCAF squadrons with appropriate markings. This will allow for post-1945 scenarios with the RCAF (Korean War for example)

In fact the Philippines used the rhomboid markings during the Japanese occupation. Afterwards they used the "winged" emblem (cf. http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/3/1073f.jpg) This shape is pretty hard to implement full-sized ingame due to engine limitations so I've opted for an emblem without the wings(only for late-war planes):

Early Philippines markings will be used for pre-1944 planes:
