I have IL2 on my Macbook,I run it on an install of XP that is installed to Parallel desktop.

I use to use Bootcamp to run windows and IL2 on my Macbook,Leopard now has bootcamp included

Although it does run IL2 I have the graphics turned down in order to run IL2 on my Macbook.There may be ways to turn up the graphics but I only use the FMB on my macbook so have really not tried to tweak the graphics on it.

you would be better off buying a windows computer to run IL2;
Windows and there desktops or laptops are much better for running IL2, as windows computers have way better Graphics for games and video's than Mac's have ever had or do IMHO

I have a Mac desktop and a Macbook as well as a dedicated HP Vista Gaming pc which is just for IL2 ,FSX and X-Plane

Well I run IL2 on a 2008 Macbook Pro via XP on boot camp. No problems with highest settings.

Not sure about a Macbook though. The latest ones may be OK, but I'm sure you'll need max RAM to benefit.

The smaller screen on the Macbook may effect your gaming experience. I can just about do OK with my 15", but hooked up to a bigger monitor really makes IL2 much better.

Just my two penny worth ;-)
