Always good to see new movies...I see that yours is receiving significant praise at Youtube. Good for you.

I have to say, though, that I was unable to watch this movie after about 2 minutes due to the intense and constant stuttering magnified by what seemed to be very jerky manual panning. (Manual panning rarely ever works well in IL2 movies) I skipped forward but the effect/technique continued throughout. The stuttering could be due to your in-game play, PC specs, or your capturing settings or even your production framerates, etc. FYI, I watched the movie in HD version at youtube and I have a high-end PC rig/graphics card... I also found it hard to understand why one could hear the engines but not the gunfire.

Here is an excllent Tutorial on IL2 movie-making, which might be of use.http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f...6011062176

Also, several excllent movie making guides/tutorials are located here, in the Public Area Forums: http://www.meyeuniverse.com/movboard/index.php

Looking forward to your next production.

Nice video - I just have to ask:

- What sound MOD or engine samples are U using - they're magnificent, nothing less?

Thanks a lot bud
Yeah I am using manual panning which I think can be really effective especially in combat scenes but
but NOT with static camera I am using PATsmoke Mod which is much smoother.
You are right about over use in normal flight and Jafa has also pointed this out.
However some individuality to the movie making process must be observed otherwise all the movies will follow a set pattern and look exactly the same.
As for stuttering I have noticed that sometimes when you switch from normal to HD it stutters BUT when you drag back to re-start its O.K. as long as the red load bar has loaded sufficiently [not making excuses, honest]
I also have a high spec P.C /graphics etc and good framerate so I dont think its that.
This is only my third movie so still learning.
As for not being able to hear gun fire, not sure why but the sound Mod seems to have a higher
volume level for some reason ,was O.K before???
If you have any answer to this problem, would appreciate it.

The apparent stuttering was a distraction for me. I thought it was neat at the opening of the film, looked like some of the films shot in combat during WWII, but it really detracted from the combat scenes. Otherwise, I enjoyed it.
