How to work with Kronstadt plates?
#1

I have a huge of list of these im my FMB objects; I take it that most of these are custom made.
I understand that 17a is the invisible plate and that 17 is the same size but visible. I've also discovered through the search function that Canon's BoB map turned the whole lot invisible.
How do I get them visible again, and what parts do I need to edit to make my own? Unlike a standard texture file there seems to be half a dozen different bits.

Any beginner's tips to get me started on the right path will be greatly appreciated.

The Kronstadt Plates are like objects not Tile textures. They are simple ground planes used to provide an authentic street pattern in certain cities. Similar plates are used on the Berlin map.

In my MODS folder they are in Objects_ffb/Buildings/Russia/Piter/Kotlin/Kronstadt17a

There is another version in CAN_Objects.

As you probably know they are used to smooth airfields, but you must level the ground first otherwise you will get invisible steps at the plate edges.

There is some sort of conflict with either Canons or FabianFreds objects and the original Kronstadt objects. I need to disable both mods in order to get the Kronstadt Plates and the city walls to appear on the Finland map.

Thanks Ashes, I was assuming they were tiles. No wonder I couldn't figure them out!
