I found some pics of a model P-47(couldn't find any real pics, but I did find a few others that looked closed to it)that is painted mainly black(Pre D-Day)and one that is painted all black(D-Day+1 and on).

Would anyone care to make this? I'm a real noob at skinning, so if I made it it wouldn't be good.

It would not be black mate, its Olive Drab

If you want to have a crack at it mate go for it.
Just remember on the P47 there is a lot of mirroring and reversed area's, have fun :wink:

I hate to sound like Mr "Pedantic" but I think"Eileen" was actually RAF dark green upper surfaces with RAF Sky lower surfaces. It has been done several times and shouldn't be hard to locate.

The only black P-47 I that springs to mind was the personal aircraft of an RAF OTU in Eygpt ...I think.
