I've been downloading all the new skins made for the Sabre. In such a short while there are already an impressive number.

I wanted to do a few for myself, but the new template doesn't seem to work in Paint Shop Pro. So I was wondering if anyone feels like doing a camo version of the F-86?

Going through Wings Palette (fastest reference for profiles) it looks like virtually all pilots flew in F-86's that were painted as if they had been designed by a Hell's Angels chapter instead of a military organization.

I did come across one camouflaged F-86, Air national Guard, and thought it ought to be a good candidate for skinning.

If you can get another picture of that plane showing the top wings then I'll do it. For now I'll leave this one in my collection of maybe skins.

You can just do it in a standard SEAC scheme like any vietnam era fighter

I agree about the Hell's Angels statement... Some of those schemes are too garish! I'm amazed at how loose US commanders were with personal artwork.

South Korea had them painted up very similar to that (SEA Camo) until the early 70's at least.

Camo paint knocked a decent amount off the top speed though..

We REALLY need to get a server up and running with Sabres..does anyone know of one?

Has anyone considered an "aggressor" scheme for a Sabre.. maybe a red tail section and nose with Russian style markings?
