Is this a bug?

When in full mission builder I set up four planes to take off and they end up lined up at an angle instead of a straight line on the runway. Is there a way to correct this?

Hello Bombsaway,

Do you use the Reduced-Airfield-Influence mod? I had a similar problem after installing it. Turning it off (rename it, starting with "-") soved the problem for me.

Hope this will help,

Hi Bombsaway,

As far as I understand it, in very early versions of the IL-2 game, player aircraft could be placed anywhere for take-off in FMB. Later versions of the game introduced an alteration that automatically placed aircraft on a pre-set take-off point at any airfield. Thus, it became very difficult for a mission builder to place aircraft inside hangars or at taxi points for take-off. The Reduced-Airfield-Influence mod counteracts this effect, but it apparently also alters take-off positions that have already been set in missions that were written before this mod was introduced.

Hope this explains it.

I found that I'll have to turn this on and off depending on the mission. When its off they line up straight but a float plane cannot be moved from the set take off point. Odd, its seems to me I used to be able to move them to where I wanted but cant now. When I turn on the mod I can so, I'll deal with it. Thanks for your help.
