I just found some payware campaigs in the net:

- Battle over Europe
- IL2 The Last Days
- Ostfront
- Rebirt of Honor
- The Fires Above
- Wings over Jungles
- Wings over Waves
- Wings over Citadel

And before I buy any of this I

With Wings over Waves you essentially get extra missions and extra skins, meant for the Pacific Theater.

The skins are all well done of course as are the missions - though some feature very large numbers of aircraft, which makes them a strain on some systems.

But an honest opinion would be that you can download more than enough free skins and missions on other sites like Flying Legends and Mission 4 Today. Visit these 2 sites regularly and over time your collection of skins and missions will be much larger and certainly more diverse.

On the other add-ons I cannot say much, but I guess they are much the same. Essentially just a collection of missions and skins.

If money is an issue, afracier is right. You can get a lot more free stuff. However, I have bought Wings over Jungles/Waves and Citadel. The amount of skins I got was well worth the price of admision. The missions are awesome. The stuff is really quality. Battle over Europe was and is not really good, at all. I cant offer an opinion on Rebirth of Honor as I dont have it. The Fires Above and Ostfront are excellent. I really dont feel that IL2 is complete without these. When I build missions I use a lot of the skins that come with these. Makes things a lot easier.
There is something really cool about these. You get everything in one package and its installed in minutes. You get LOTS of skins and more mission than you can fly.

I won't say those campaigns aren't good but there's so much better to download for free. Check out Enterprise at Mission4today.com or anything made by PhilK. Also Check out the campaigns download on this site. Have you played Hellhawks campaign yet? Or Darwin Defenders?

I have "Wings over Jungle", and I have only one complaint, but a BIG one: the Japanese Army Airforce skins are 90% completely spurious, with fictive Sentai markings. Also some of the JNAF aircraft have spurious Sentai markings as well. Crazy, as there is no big problem to see how the REAL markings looked like.
