Shuffle the kids off to grandma's and tell your wife you won't be home for dinner. Is there a friend you can leave a sealed envelope with? You should write down exactly what happened and have them deliver it to the authorities if anything should happen. Destroy all your records, no one must follow your work.

What'd do? I was looking at the film in this thread and I like the opening canopy.. I don't get it.. why is everyone acting like I asked about a particle beam cannon or something? I seem to have obviously missed something about this mod or the lack of it..... can someone enlighten me? I see it in the video.. it looks great... it is posted here... this is a mod site..... what? :oops:

Just kiddin' around Bearcat. There's no prob with your question. I was just poking fun at the old "when will it be ready" thing to which mods/modders usually respond with "When it's bloody well ready and not before" type of stuff.
Just kidding around really. Yours is a legitimate question. I just like to play poke the bear when it's good and harmless fun :roll:

Well if that is what people are telling me then that's what they should say... I see this plane in this great video with an openable canopy.. I know there were issues at one time... but I see this canopy... in the pit and from outside opening smoothly.. and it looks great.... I am well aware of some of the work being done here... I have seen things that were once undoable now doable because someone figured out how to do it right.... so I ask.

However I do not hang on every word that comes from here.. so I don't know all the current "stuff" ... So the answer to my question is .... what exactly?

The mod is still not doable because it alters things that are sacrosanct?

The mod is done but not released yet?

The mod is releasewd on another site other than here and it cannot be named? (Which IMO raises all kinds of ironic issues anyway....)

Sorry mate I honestly didn't mean to go and confuse the thread or a perfectly reasonable question.

Myself I've no idea about this canopy mod. There's a WIP thread about a whole series of new slot Mustangs, you might want to check that out as it may be included in there. Like you said if it's being shown around on YouTube it must be under development by somebody.
