I have made an updated template for the F-86 Sabre.

This new version has a few added panels and about a million rivets.

Wow.. that looks great. I bet adding all those rivets was a real PITA Hopefully this will be the new standard to use as the base for skinners. Great work.

There is an alternate USAF stencil included and the numbers have been seen in several different fonts but it looks like ARIAL seems to be one of the best matches for the most common numbers found.

By the way, does this new template make all the repaints obsolete? The skin artists will all have to do new repaints for this one because the repaints we have now will cover up all of that hard work, correct?

We'll just drop the layers from the old templates into the new one , all the details are above the paint :wink:

As Highlander said, the paint layers will actually go under these layers. It's also up to the indivual skinners whether they want to redo their skins on the new template. I have seen quite a few have already anyway. I'm just glad folks are getting some use out of it. One is glad to be of service.
