Just a question, why did you try to land when you saw B-17 on runway?

eh, was in a bit of a hurry to end this mission and at first i thought that first B17 was damaged in recent strike so runway isn't going to be "clear" anyways ... and i did get clearing from tower :wink:

When you end up on the grass, use aileron to force you onto one wheel. This will give bumps that are transferred into the roll axis and increase the chance of a clean getaway.
