Hello there,

I'm wanting to make a "detail mod" that will give you the oil splash with external views. Currently, when oil splashes on your canopy, you only see it inside the aircraft.

I've got Avala's oilsplash mod, and also the new gore effects mod. I see how they're constructed and work. I've also got the SFS extractor, MSH converter, and most of the other tools.

However, I don't know where to find the MAT file that controls oil splashes, better yet, how I can rework it to display the oil splashes externally. I've got Avala's mod with his MAT file, but like I said, it only shows oil internally.

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction about where to find the needed files, and maybe even more info on MAT files...

Oh, I think I've got my MAT file questions figured out. I just made a mod I've been wanting for a while. Will post link shortly...
