I heard many problems (and including myself) that the game crashes at 5% or sometimes 60% when you start it. That happened to me like at least 5 times :x . Right now I am reinstalling my game again for the 5th or 6th time and it's quite annoying. The only way to actually prevent crashes is whenever you download a new mod, first check if you have the requirements like AC installer or Mod Activator and so on... Then test your game and see if you crash. If you do, remove the mod from your mod folder or use the automatic uninstaller if there is one

Even though I know how to prevent it so far (which i forgot to do this time) I don't know why it crashes. Does anyone have any ideas? The worst thing to do is download a bunch of mods at one time because you won't know which one is the main cause of the crashes. if you fail... well good luck reinstalling it again... like me. Maybe you can enjoy the pictures they had while you reinstall the game.

This may sound dumb to you and yes I may be crazy as hell, but I got so tired of the game crashing and having to uninstall and reinstall this is what I did.I have the unified installer so I installed it and got the game up and running then I installed the unified installer on to my desktop,then I started adding mods,to my game like all the new Bf109's the Saber and ect here's where things get tricky.Some mods that a guy adds just don't work with certain missions,I like playing some of the missions on the Japanese side like the Attack mission, but some mods make it and all the good Pearl Harbor missions go null so I Made a new folder in main game folder and named it Mods with Saber I dropped the mod folder and the files folder from the game into it.I then took a clean mods and files folder from my desk top and put them into my game folder now I can play the Japanese missions again. I then made another new folder and named it mods good for Japanese missions.Then because of all the confusion with all the new planes and buttons files I made a mods folder for the new spitfires.It may sound crazy as all hell but hey it works my game hasn't crashed in three or four months all I have to do is switch back and fourth it beats the alternative.
