Got to agree with anti-addick- Halifax is the great un sung hero of Bomber Command- 4 Group in Yorkshire & Linconshire used them almost exclusively right through the war. Very sturdy- (German night-fighter pilots say they didnt catch fire when hit as easily as Lancs), and the later models were fast and nice to fly. Had lots of different roles too- Coastal Command used them for anti-submarine and long range weather, they towed gliders and were transports, dropped paras and were used on special ops missions.
Would love to see a late model Merlin B Mk II Srs 1a one day, but any mark would be a great addition to the sim.

No doubt, you've noticed already, but if you haven't: Ranwers (i think it was) has announced the Halifax .III in the WIP beta mods discussion forum! Hooray!
Annoying the annoying, so you don't have to.
I'd like to add my own humble support for this request for a flyable Halifax (or a flyable Stirling or Lancaster).
Also, while I'm here, does anyone know where I can find a RAF skin for the flyable B24? Someone on the forums made one, but didn't include a download link.
Thanks alot,
'Bomber' JollySam
If someone makes the Aircraft ill make some sknis. I have been interested in bomber command for years, since a relative who flew on lancasters came over to New Zealand. And Jopped if you are interested i could find out about the crew of that halifax. I have a book about the New Zealanders I bomber command and im sure I HAve seen that crash mentioned in there somewhere. So if anyone is still reading this thread i will Make Skins
