Hmm, now that's an idea - I guess it should be possible - using a similar technique as for the late spit doors...

The turret also raises in the early B-25s...

The ventral turret in the B-24 had to be retracted, otherwise it would drag on the ground. The B-25 B, C, D, and early G model ventral turret was also retractable. This would be a nice feature in Il2.

Would be fine to retract it when you toggle the gear.
Like Gear down > Turret up
And Gear up > Turret down

I like the Idea. 8)

It used to before one of the patches. Probably one of those "incestuous code" things where one thing was changed and it caused another unrelated thing to occur. Just like when seaplane props quit rotating at the last waypoint before landing.

Goth of these things would be a much appreciated fix.

Ok, thx. I saw a screen shot somewhere with it retracted, thougt I was missin something.
