I have problems pushing the Mig 3 higher than 7000 m, after 7200 m the engine slowly halts.

There are several MIG3; which one are you talking about? What kind of settings?

And what about your mixture? Is it at 60/ 40%?

I have flown it at 11.000m in full real mode; so you should be able to do te same regarding ceiling. Check your mixture and pitch; should have NP flying higher than 8K with 60% mixture and 95/90% pitch.

Without messing with mixtures, you cant get very high with Yak's or MiG-3's
