I know this may be a no no or what many others call a weapons mod,

but is it possible to create the AC-47D "SPOOKY" like AC-130 Gunship as used in the Vietnam War

- Like mounting a Bufors 20mm on the side of the Skytrain to strike ground targets, even when the SPOOKY used vulcans?

What's the point? What are you going to use it for? Vietnam sim fine - but we barely have the Korean War here.; plus, this is the map forum.

AC-47 is in the Yankee Air Pirate add-on for Wings over Vietnam. It's used in proper context there.

I think this would be a great mod, but it kinda demands the rest of the Vietnam era planes to be made with it for a complete set. Without them, you have a whole bunc of 1940's and a few 1950's planes and then one plane from the 1960's. Sorry, but it dosen't seem to fit. It would be great to go that far with the level of immersion available with this sim. However, I don't think that the sim can handle the complex weapons systems usesd for the rest of the aircraft.

-the only intention i had in use of it was for offline use, which included simple strikes to lightly armored ground tragets...
