Yak cockpit allready look's like a tank    So it's ok
I'd hate to "hijack" the topic, but since it's about Yaks I'll just go ahead - is there any chance we'll get the Russian munual-installed Yaks into the UI or the AAA AircraftInstaller? I've tried a few times adding them manually to a clean UI1.1 install, but the game crashes or there are so many bugs that it is just unplayable.
I'm talking about the various modded Yaks that the folks at the Aviaskins forums have added - late Yak-7b (no gargrot), Yak-1 M105PA , -1M105PF , Yak-3 VK-107 and so on. With all the new Spits and 109's being added (which is great, by the way) it's strange to see so many version of the most-produced fighter plane in history missing from the sim...

Thank you very much for this mod. I support cordially its including into the official AAA stuff.
Installation on my IL2 Sturmovik 1946 with UI1.1 patched and with A/C installer 3.5 was very simple:
I just extract the file to temporary folder, then copied the content of MODS folder into my MODS folder, an all goes! Now I have cockpits of Yak 9, 9D, 9K, 9T, 9B repaired.
Perhaps it would be nice to expand the mod to Yak 1B, 7B , too.
There are some other issue in original IL2 Yaks:
The compass is not seen too comfortably,
and the UV illumination of the gauges flickers too much, see below:
