One of the first things I tried when I installed mods was to get some new sounds. I didn't hear much of a difference so I thought maybe my crappy soundcard is to blame and didn't care.
A couple of months ago, I found out that all the sudden I had great sound, something I had done had made the soundmod work! I couldn't figure out what it was and though but I thought"if it ain't broke, don't fix it"
For a while now I've only fired up IL-2 to check out new mods and to do some skinning so I haven't had earphones plugged in, but recently I did and suddenly I'm back to the old standard sounds and I haven't got a clue why. I don't know when it changed back as I've been installing mods at a steady interval so which files might be responsible for this? Any ideas what I need to check first would be greatly appreciated.
