Was just reading about the twin stang- seems like it was used more than I thought in Korea.

It's be nice to have this baby in the Korea map.

Nice, but not essential Tongue There's so much great stuff here anyway 8)

Nice preview shots Hellzone.

I think that this is an essential mod for 1946 to Korea. Then again, I love any version of the Mustang. So, is this one dead?

This is another favorite plane I modelled as a teenager. Always thought the Mustang was awesome, and 2 for the price of one is just too cool.

Maybe, with some luck, Lt. Wolf will pick up this project, fix the gun problems and other stuff on the model and make all the Twins. I think that's all we can hope for at this point since it looks like the project died.

Its alot of work for this plane, no one wants to help. Basic and simple

In honesty, it would be quite a bit of work to "get it right". Let alone all the FM/DM issues, just the 3D modeling would really require entirely new fuselages from the cockpit back. While it might make for some interesting fights against a 109Z, I could see the P-82 being more of a "nice to have, fly it a couple of times just to see what it's like" plane than something most people might want to fly all the time.

I don't know if anyone is actually working on this or not, but I ran across this page while looking for some P-51H pics...

There's some decent info as well as some pictures and line drawings. The more I look at them, the more I hope someone is working on this!

nice video... and interesting plane Smile

but..... the cockpit view is wrong! you are sitting between the engines... but between the engines are just the wings...

Does thing even have guns, I mean, It was experimental...right :?:

No, it was not experimental. It was the replacement for the P-61 Black Widow in night fighter squadrons. It was very much a front line aircraft in the USAF nightfighter force.
