Forgotten Airports

Recently visiting Erice town, in Sicily, I noticed from the top of the hill something
that looked as an airport.
Checked in Google Earth and, yes, it was an abandoned airport of WWII,
now cut by a road:

And this is in Rhodes, still showing bombs' craters!

I wondered if anybody else has knowledge of other lost airport of WWII,
they must be still several to lay somewhere in Europe and the rest of the world.

Then you'll just need to filter for the relevant country.
