Hi

Im still working in my MOD "gore4allPlanes" and this weekend im was doing some test to add blood splats in the windscreen, here is the screenshots:

This will be a different MOD and be compatible with my "gore4allPlanes" MOD. Note in the last picture that the pilot still alive but the blood is showed. Im need help for how to modify the damage model to shows the gore when the pilot dead model is showed. If not is posible to modify the damage model (to avoid cheats) im have other idea for make this mod and will continue investigating. Big Grin

Thanks to the AAA community for the support.

I was having a think about a similar idea, where when the oil blotch is triggered on the internal view it shows on the outside. You would probably need to add some coding (or adapt it from other aircraft) that triggers the gore once the pilot2 model shows.

Another idea (not sure how well it would work) is to attach the gore model to pilot2 in hier.him. It might do the trick

If you had finished that, is it possible to see the blood form cokpit view on your windscreen, an also when the pilot is only wounded???

Looks promising. It would be a great addition.

Now I understand it's a WIP right now but for the final can you get rid of the blood on the cowl? If the blood sprays the inside of the canopy how would it get on the cowl, especially ahead of the pilot?
Of course if it's not possible it will still be a good mod and one I would install.

Just asking.

I like the idea...I once asked if it was possible to show a blood splatter on the gauges or other cockpit areas when "you" (the player) are injured, but still in the game. That way we could remove the subtitle (text) that reads "Player injured". I think it would "feel" more natural for gameplay if player injury was displayed in such a manor. I'm sure that this detail would not be possible without extended modifications, but an increase in the amount of blood (splatter or pooled) could indicate the increasing severity of injury. With the way the game plays now (as we all know) the screen fades red as our life fades away...but increasing blood in the cockpit would be more natural for gameplay...and again we could reduce the subtitles.

p.s. Thanks for your efforts...I'm looking forward to the fruits of your labors.
