Is there any way to go higher then 1280*960 , i have a samsung syncmaster t220 @1680*1050

if i use the higest res in il-2 i have thos ugly screen picture with big black bars on each side of my screen ...its very very ugly and anoying to fly like this

any mods or work arounds ?

Go to your config.ini file. somewhere at the beginnig you find the actual screenresolution. change it so that it fits to your screen.

Open the conf.ini file (with notepad or wordpad) that's in your IL2 directory.

There's a section called [window]. Change the text to look like the coloured bits below:
