Umm...... why does the Mustang use the RR merlin sound instead of the packard-merlin sound?

I just noticed ths today as I don't usually fly the mustang. I took out the "motor.Packard_Merlin.prs" file out of my presets folder, and the mustang sounded like a spit. When I left the packard file in and took out the Rolls Royce merlin files, the mustang's sound was gone.

what gives?

more wierdness- the P-47 is apparently controlled by the R-2000 prs file, rather than the r-2800 like its supposed to be. And the Hellcat and the Corsair have the same engine, yet they work fine on the r-2800 like they should.

yeah, i've noticed some 'anomalies' with the 'sounds vs. aircraft that use them', myself... :!:

+1 i have RR merlin instead of packard merlin sounds with P51, fix please? Using jafa sounds.
