I'd imagine that'd be very hard. Not only would you have to animate the elevators, you would have to model the hanger deck too. Unless you want the huge hollow space inside each ship that there is now.

...But it would still be really cool.

I actually brought this up a few months back (not claiming to be the first) and I believe that I did hear that this can (possibly) be done. If you'd like, you can search my posts on this subject and see what you come up with. see i was thinking on a mission to have some planes below deck and have to go up the elevator and takeoff it would work great with the carrier takeoff mod 5.2

I absolutely LOVE the idea of such a mod. However, I also try to be practical. Practicality is that it is going to be next to nill getting this thing to actually work. And honestly, even though I LOVE the idea, I would rather see a Helldiver and Devistator if I had to choose between elevator mod and key missing pacific planes ... just my 2 cents.

I would also love to see some carrier personnel on deck. Not necesaroly animated but just we can see them when taking off or landing at least (and trying not to smash them)...
