Ok I just started playing online earlier this week. First Id like to say that I am really bad at this game, not the fighter ace I thought I would be.

But anyways, I cant figure out how to have patches 4.08m and 4.09b1m installed at the same time on my pc, its either one or the other so I only get to play half the coops.

Another thing I dont know how to do is where do I download the AAA mods I need to play custom maps and custom aircraft for COOP missions in IL2? Most of the missions suck that Im given, Id really like a good aircraft carrier torpedo bombing COOP to play.

Well if you read a little more tyhere should be a forum named unified installer. DL all 4 pieces. There's a new version switvher program that allows u to swtich 4.08M. 4.08MMod 4.08M Mod w/6DOF. Same for 4.09 And with this unified installer u get new planes maps and I think obj's that way u can make more elaboarte coops. Have Fun!

I have to agree the Unified Installer is an excellent way to get a lot of new content into IL2 with very little knowledge required.

Well I downloaded and installed the 4.08m to 4.09b1m mod switcher but I am still lacking 4.08 when I try to play, maybe I need to redownload 4.08m?

Can anyone direct me to all the downloads I need to properly play Coop AND AAA's 4.08 dogfighting server

Did you download the 4.08 dedicated server patch? Go to ubisoft.com and search for it and it should be there

I have downloaded AAA Comunity Installer 1.1 unifier and I am going to put it into a copied folder of my 4.08m IL-2 folder. I have named the copied folder: IL-2 MOD. If I have it right I will install 1.1 directly to my IL-2 MOD folder use the IL-2 exe within and off I go to hyperlobby and fly in the 109 vs spits...correct? :?

Three more questions.

1. Do I need the 1.1.1 update and if so why?
2. Do I need the server patch if all I am going to do is fly in other folks servers?
3. Can I have all the fun I can stand without 4.09?

It's alive..IT'S ALIVE!!!! I have a folder IL-2 MOD that has a switcher in it and it seems I have everything I need in the AAA Comunity Instaler 1.1 installed to this folder to fly moded 4.08 and 4.09 amd I have tried swithing between 4.08 and 4.09b1mod and its working...impossible..never has my computer experiance been this easy for such a massive gain.....I will donate..believe it!!! hock: :o :lol:
