if i start il2 the loading times (preload the game) is very slow! without UI 1.1 it is 4 times faster!!

do you know a reason for that??

...possibly the several extra gigs worth of data that needs to be loaded with the mods....remember, the game is pretty old already.... 8)
my mods folder is sitting at over 13 gigs already...bigger than the entire original game in extracted format..!!! 8)

I agree, too much loading time with U.I. 1.1. patch: may be there are many Java error?

I have medium sized loading time of about 15 seconds, but some times, after a reboot, it will easily take 2 mins even with defragging the harddrive :?

is there a way to allocate 1 or 2gb of mods into RAM? maybe that could fix the loading issue

You can do it but they will disappear when you reboot. I think its faster to wait 2 mins than copying the files to RAM for about 5 mins...
