Hey guys - sorry I'm new to this and this may not be a bug. When I had the standard IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 I could drop bombs from any aircraft with Joystick button 4. I installed the AAA Installer with all the cool planes and now any bomber with an internal bomb bay does not drop any bombs.... I can stll drop bombs with button 4 from the Dauntless and Stuka but not from an A-20, B-25, or the B-29 ? Do I need to open the bomb bay doors first omehow - I could not find a button for that in the controls menu?
thanks for your help...

Hi joung Jedi...the street towards the Force is long!
But for now the answer at your question is easy:
You have a mod called Bomb Bay Door (I think v2) that give the bomb bay control so for drop the bomb you need to open them before by the 10% power command!
For exaustive explanation about how it work (it's a great mod!!!) go into search engine and search for that mod!
cheers
walter
PS I apologize for my introduction , if you are at the start of the road I have made only one step (if I have done it)!!!!

For the love of God...
Thanks! I got it working ! I assigned Alt D to Power 10 key - like someone else described in a previous thread. Guess I should have read more before asking the question.
Thanks for the help anyway - this is awesome stuff - I'm nuking like crazy now! Is it worth getting the smoke mod for the nuke? It sort of looks pretty realistic with white smoke to me - at least compared to some photos I've seen of mushroom clouds....

Hi mates!
For Zeviper: when you taste smoke mods or any other kind of effects mods try to don't make my same error and add a readme at the MODS folder named EFFECTS (or any kind of name you like) and write every single effects mods folder added with the date of addition and with the link to AAA so if you have some trouble you can do a backward research! I have made a lot of confusion with effects mods in the past so I prefere to expend a minute before instead a lot of time after! In the meantime ENJOY!!!!
For Bigbossmalone: Thanks for your words!!!
For Keyser_Soze: I really hope to have some explanation about your words , I think to haven't do anything wrong with my words (Luke was a great pilot too) , I'm only joking and I have asked excuse immediatly at the bottom of my post because I have see the joining date of Zeviper and thought that he is at the beginning of modding (like me incidentally) and I think that the IL2 mods dimension is a third dimension and not only related to the sim but to the man who do the mods and so he and me too are at the beginning of the street!!
In the meantime.....my best regards at all!!!

Wow... alright, where to begin? Walter, my comment wasn't directed at you, it was for Zeviper. It seems like at least once a day there is someone asking about why they cannot employ their internal bomb load after installing UI. The search function exists for a reason. Or maybe they could try reading the "readme" file that comes with UI? I didn't mean to upset your sensitive feelings, so there is the explanation you expected.
And Luke was a horrible pilot. In Episode IV, the rest of Red Squadron bought him time with THEIR skill and blood, Han saved him from Vader, and the only advantage he brought to the battlefield was the ability to use the Force to drop his proton torpedoes into the thermal exhaust port. Episode V, he failed to bring down a single ATAT before being shot down (granted, Dax was dead) AND he couldn't even land his X-Wing on Dagobah without sinking it into a swamp. Episode VI, he wasn't even invited to participate in the space battle, just thrown onto the commando raid to Endor because everyone had figured it out by then.
So, in conclusion, Zeviper should have used the search function or read the documentation that came with UI. That was the reason for my exclamation, "For the love of God...".
